I visited Amsterdam for the first time in 2016 after winning the price of the 19th Dutch International cartoon festival, in Middelburg, Zeeland. Obviously, I got inspired by the world-famous Amsterdam “Red Light District” as I designed a whole number of cartoons under the theme of ‘’Red Wine District’’. Since 2019 this series has been exhibited in several restaurants and bars in center of Amsterdam.
