Soil for my Roots

2019
Mixed media, Exhibited in SHOLEH ABGHARI gallery, Spain

My look to soil is to grow, to create the soul for a fundamental element that is a symbol of birth. In various cultures and religions, this symbol stands for the beginning and the end of one’s life, and a narration of the story of humans. The soil is the geographic identity of us and the code of the place and culture of our homeland. As we grow up, this identity leads us on the path to our livelihood and changes as we get mature. In the end, it becomes an indication of us for future generations. In this video installation, I attempt to narrate the senses of this path. An implanted region with the natural sound of soil formation with human hands and a durable architecture that in this comrade shows us the way to beautiful realities.
